The NSCMIRTP is sharing the NSRMIRT Draft Bylaws to invite feedback during a 30-day consultation period. These Bylaws will come into effect when the professions transition from the Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Professionals Act to the Regulated Health Professions Act (RHPA). While the exact date of this transition is not yet confirmed, it is anticipated to take place in early June.

The deadline to provide feedback is Monday, May 18, 2026.

How to participate:

1.      Review the Draft Bylaws

2.      Submit your feedback via email to info@nscmirtp.ca with subject line: Draft Bylaws Feedback.  

The bylaws will be updated throughout the public notice period in response to feedback received. A final version will be approved by the NSRMIRT Board following the transition. Once the transition to the RHPA occurs, the revised bylaws will be posted on the regulator’s website.
