On June 1, 2026, the NSCMIRTP transitioned under the NS Regulated Health Professions Act and became known as the Nova Scotia Regulator of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy (NSRMIRT). Effective June 01 2026, the Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Act 2013 and the Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Professionals Regulations 2020, are repealed in effect by s.189 of the Regulated Health Professions Act, N. S. 2023, c.15.
