Fall Plenary Session

2023 has been a year of legislative and policy changes at the NSCMIRTP. In our annual fall plenary session we have invited Ryan Baxter, our legal representative from McGinnis Cooper, to speak on these initiatives and how they will impact the public, our registrants and the College.

 Topics to be discussed will include:

• Patient Access to Care Act

• New Common Foundations Act

• Regulation of CLXTs

• Advance Practice

• Registrants of one modality practicing aspects of another modality

• Provisional licensing of international applicants

• Waiving of credentialing process for specific international applicants. 

After the main presentation the executive director, Julie Avery, will be available to answer any question related to the College and MIRTP practice. Registrants are welcome to ask questions live during the session or send questions in advance to info@nscmirtp.ca to be answered during the session.

CPD certificates will be sent out to attendees by the end of October 2023.
