2023 has been a year of legislative and policy changes at the NSCMIRTP. In our annual fall plenary session we invited Ryan Baxter, our legal representative from McGinnis Cooper, to speak on these initiatives and how they will impact the public, our registrants and the College.

 Topics to be discussed will include:

  • Patient Access to Care Act

  • New Common Foundations Act

  • Regulation of CLXTs

  • Advance Practice

  • Registrants of one modality practicing aspects of another modality

  • Provisional licensing of international applicants
